How many people can attend a session?
Workshops work best with groups of 10–30 participants. Smaller teams are welcome — in fact, smaller groups often allow for deeper, more contextual work. Larger organisations can be accommodated with a multi-session approach. Get in touch and we'll design something that fits.
Do I need a technical background to attend?
No. All training is designed for non-technical audiences — managers, programme officers, business owners, and team leads. The focus is on understanding and using data, not on building technical systems. Participants with technical backgrounds also benefit, particularly from the strategy and communication elements.
Can sessions be customised for my organisation's context?
Yes — and this is encouraged. The most impactful sessions use your organisation's own data, processes, and real challenges as the working material. During the discovery call, we discuss your specific context and tailor the content accordingly.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. Most sessions are available both virtually and in-person. Virtual sessions are fully interactive and designed to keep participants engaged — not lecture-style presentations. In-person sessions are available across Sub-Saharan Africa; travel arrangements are discussed during the proposal stage.
What's the difference between a workshop and the WIDB programme?
The workshops listed here are available for any organisation or team and can be booked independently. The WIDB (Women in Digital Business) programme is a structured cohort-based programme specifically for women entrepreneurs in Africa, backed by the ILO, ITC, and Microsoft, and it awards an internationally recognised certificate on completion.
